There is something so peaceful about shooting macro photographs. Maybe it’s that my subject isn’t moving?! Unless the wind blows… 🙂
Actually I think it has more to do with this camilla bush. My mother-in-law gave this camilla bush to me when my Grandfather died. It blooms every spring and fall and it reminds me of times I spent with him and my Grandma. His laugh, how he played the accordion, baking bread in their house, their chairs, collecting rain for her indoor plants from the down spouts, and many many more sweet memories. I’m so thankful for them and the memories I created with them.
