Hi! I’m Jessica and I’m slightly obsessed with babies!
For as long as I can remember, I have had a camera with me… I took it with me on all of my trips and vacations. I was fortunate to travel a lot with my church youth group in middle school and high school, and my parents always sent me with a camera and a few rolls of film. I use my camera much more now that I have children and it seems that our lives are flying by. I have grown to love photography and it has changed the way that I look at the world. I see light, shadows, connections and moments and I am inspired to capture that split second in time so that it’s frozen forever. I thank God so much for blessing me with this passion that allows me to create images that bring me right back to that moment in time.
I live in Greensboro, NC and grew up right around the corner in High Point, NC. I went to college in Chapel Hill – Go Heels!!! – then moved to Greensboro after graduation. I married the most amazing man in 2006 (I’ve known him since Middle School!) and we have two incredible kids: Nora (8) and Sawyer (4). They keep our lives entertaining, fun and busy!
I can’t write an “About Me” page without mentioning my love for Jesus. Words can’t describe the gratitude I have for his presence in my life. I am also super detail oriented, I love modern decor, white walls, BABIES, and you can usually find me outside having fun with my family.
Why do I love photographing maternity and newborns so much? I adore the connection Mom and Dad have with this tiny life they have yet to meet, but know so much about already. Babies are truly miraculous! Each has a personality of their own and they grow SO quickly. I can’t have a newborn at my house everyday, so I need to snuggle with everyone else’s! Thus, my love for newborn photography began. I absolutely love what I do and I enjoy meeting all of my clients! They are the best!
